The MicroCap Pro™ Single-Use capsule system is the alternative to Pak® depth filter modules on a
production scale. It is specifically designed for large scale microfiltration in the blood fractionation,
biotech, and pharmaceutical industries.
MicroCap Pro™ is a versatile solution for the processing of CHO, E. coli or in blood fractionation in
pilot plant, production scale and/or for conversion to a Single-Use system.
Available in three different sizes/filter areas, the system offers easy scalability and therefore a perfect
transition from lab scale to production scale.
All ErtelAlsop depth filter media, whether single or double-layered, with or without activated carbon,
are available as MicroCap Pro™ depth filter capsules.
ErtelAlsop is therefore one of the few manufacturers in the world that can also supply 16" depth filter
capsules with activated carbon layers.

This video is primarily intended to illustrate the MicroCap Pro™ Single-Use product portfolio.
The respective filter holders for the laboratory area/MCP-F, pilot plant/MCP-S and production
area/MCP-L are presented. In the video you can see a demo of the handling of the filter capsules and,
if necessary, the manifolds.
These illustrations serve to demonstrate how easy it is to use a capsule system for depth filters in
practice. We would particularly like to emphasise that the laboratory holder/MCP-F can be operated
without the use of manifolds.
