Teaching Activity Bioengineering
In line with the vipur credo, we are happy to pass on our knowledge in theory and practice as part of our own teaching activities at the University of Applied Science Vienna Department for Bioprocess Engineering.
This is because vipur is highly committed to maintaining and expanding the pharmaceutical and biotechnology location of Vienna and Austria. The more know-how the university's master’s graduates acquire in the fields of filtration and separation, the more solid their knowledge becomes, and the more progress is made in the filtration industry as a result.
Teaching activities and the supervision of master’s thesis are therefore an important step for the future, paving the way for innovative ideas and new findings in research and development.

Scientific Trials
After more than 100 laboratory, pilot plant and production scale trials, we face every filtration and separation challenge with positive energy and a wealth of experience from the last 25 years.
vipur has the appropriate equipment to e.g., carry out Vmax or Pmax filtration studies on site. We draw
up test plans, record all the important parameters during the test and then evaluate them in a scientific
report.
Why do we attach so much importance to this area and have invested and continue to invest
accordingly? Quite simply because it is always a scientific challenge to test a wide variety of products
in response to a precisely defined customer request. In doing so, we pursue the common goal of
developing the best economic solution for the customer.
The experience we have gained over decades with CHO, E. coli and blood plasma in conjunction with our very extensive vipur equipment and the more than 20.000 filter elements in stock are crucial to our success.
With these three pillars, we are very happy to be at our customers' disposal.
