Welcome to vipur - but what does vipur do?
Before we start with our first blog post, we are delighted that you have landed on our vipur blog and welcome you to the world of filtration and separation! We, that is my employees and I - Wolfgang Steindl-Kratochvil, founder and managing director of vipur GmbH, which stands for vienna purification.
In our office in the middle of Vienna on Mariahilfer Straße, we not only enjoy life (with our espressos), but also dedicate ourselves together as a team with enthusiasm and joy completely to the topic of filtration and separation and that is exactly what we would like to tell you a little about in the future.
To make it easier for you to enter our vipur world, I would first like to ask you this question:
What do you associate with the topic of filtration or separation?
If I were able to read every one of your first thoughts, I would certainly have a large and varied selection of answers, because filtration and separation are very complex and wide-ranging specialist areas!
At vipur, we deal almost exclusively with a wide variety of filtration and separation technologies in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology sector. I have been working in this industry for more than 25 years and I can only say that I have never been bored during this time and have often realized that these two topics are slumbering in a kind of "Sleeping Beauty sleep".
This is exactly where we want to start with our three vipur blogs and shake up the topics of filtration and separation a little. Our blog posts will be about vipur, the basics of filtration, existing and new products in this field and, above all, their test results.
We will delve into the depths of filtration and separation, but we will also sometimes only deal with these areas in a superficial, easy-to-understand and entertaining way. As progress and the discovery of new results are very important to us and drive us forward on a daily basis, we naturally emphasize the necessity of science and research. We show what contribution vipur is already making to this and will continue to make in the future - all in a simple and varied way.
As already described, we will sometimes - true to our motto of enjoying life - just talk about vipur and Vienna, which means you don't necessarily have to be an expert to read our blog posts. As Viennese city dwellers, we are confronted with many different and interesting developments and trends, so we will of course also blog about them - after all, there is a lot of Vienna in vipur.
