The selection of suitable filters in terms of throughput, cost-effectiveness and/or availability is one of our services at vipur.
We have been dealing with filtration and separation solutions for more than 25 years and can therefore draw on a corresponding knowledge of the properties of cellulose based depth filters, prefilters and sterile filters for the pharmaceutical, biotechnology and blood fractionation sectors.
We carry out tests throughout Europe with our mobile filtration equipment.
The hardware is available locally and the test samples in the vipur warehouse are always well equipped and available.
Our filtration experience in the field of cellulose based depth filtration is certainly special - we would even say unique. More than 100 trials in lab, pilot plant and production scale with a wide variety of media in different areas have left their mark on us. Despite the existing knowledge and experience, we are still very happy to face the challenges that each new application brings with it after such a long time.
The basic framework we have acquired, consisting of our routine, our know-how and the corresponding filtration products, very often helps us to achieve the best customer solution. Success is rarely dependent on just one factor, because for us success involves the interaction of several different and complementary components. That's why we come together as a vipur team for every filtration test because we appreciate being on site at the customer's premises and testing the functionality of our filters in relation to the customer's products.

With our vipur filtration proposal, we illustrate to the customer how to proceed with the customer's inquiry. This may include, for example, which possible filters or filter combinations would be useful in order to obtain the best filtration solutions.
The on-site filtration test is carried out by our team after consultation with the customer. A test is carried out according to the defined parameters in accordance with the filtration protocol.
The duration of a filtration test depends on the customer's situation and can last from one to several days.
The filtration report forms the main part of our filtration service. Our aim is to provide the customer with a well-founded scientific report.
Due to its complexity, the preparation takes approximately 1,5 weeks.
During the joint final meeting, the filtration test and the filtration report are discussed in detail with the customer. The aim is to discuss the filtration test and the evaluation with the customer and to define the next steps.
