Details
MicroCap™ depth filter capsules are a series of Single-Use depth filter products designed to optimize scale-up and scale-down studies. Several laboratory-scale capsule sizes and three different 16" depth filter capsules are available for use in pilot plant and production scale for CHO, E. coli or blood fractionation.
MicroCap™ depth filter capsules are available in 6 different sizes (1", 2,5", 5", 10", 20" and 30") with an effective filter area of 22,5cm² to 2.880cm²: with single- or double-layer depth filter layer in all ErtelAlsop media.
The MicroCap™ type MC1 is used for filtration tests on a laboratory scale. With this 22,5cm² depth filter capsule, filtration studies can be carried out easily and reliably on a lab scale from 0,5 to 3 liters.
The MC2 to MC30 Single-Use capsules are available for larger volumes.
All ErtelAlsop depth filter media, whether single-layer or double-layer, with or without activated carbon, are available as MicroCap™ depth filter capsules.
